What it is

Bring unemployed young men and women of Bihar into self-employment through six components for SC/ST, EBC, women, youth, minority and divyang applicants.

The 2025-26 window ran from 25 February to 23 March 2026; the lottery was held on 20 May 2026. The next call has not been announced.

What you get

• Grant of 50% of project cost, max ₹5 lakhUp to ₹5,00,000
• Interest-free loan for the other 50%, max ₹5 lakh (1% interest for the youth component)Up to ₹5,00,000

Who it is for

• Permanent resident of Bihar
• Passed 10+2, intermediate, ITI, polytechnic diploma or equivalent
• Aged 18 to 50
• Unit set up as a proprietorship, partnership, LLP or private limited company
• The unit must be in your home district
• Only projects from the approved list

Not eligible if

• Bihar Laghu Udyami Yojana beneficiaries
